______________________________________________________________________ The Original BROADWAY BURLESQUE THURSDAYS 8:15-9:30PM 8 weeks, $112 (members) $126 (non members) Girls, grab your fishnets, your corsets, your garters and your heels and be ready to get in touch with your inner DIVA. Leigh Torlage, dancer in the movie Chicago, creator of the Candy Girl Cabaret and resident choreographer at Maxine's HIdeaway, shares her expertise and talents with you to help you become the women that you always wanted to be. In Broadway Burlesque, you will learn to strut properly in your heels and gain confidence while having fun in a professional, supportive, girl-power atmosphere. This fast-paced class is filled with everything you need: a choreographed, sexy warm-up including floor stretching, sit ups & push ups, across the floor movement incorporating the techniques of "taking stuff off" such as gloves, shirts, coats and even skirts, and of course the choreographed routine that is always classy, always sexy, always entertaining and always fun. Leigh uses music that ranges from Jazz Standards (Fever) to Broadway (Big Spender) to Pop (Nasty Naughty Boy). This class takes Broadway Burlesque to another level. With classic rock music and hot, sexy choreography, this class is for the girl who wants to get down, work it out and take it off. Just as in Broadway Burlesque, Leigh shows you how to strut with confidence and style, dance sensually and seductively while incorporating taking off select articles of clothing with ease to classic rock tunes from ACDC, Guns n' Roses, Aerosmith, etc. This class is for everyone. Experienced or not. So grab your hottest, sexy outfit and your most comfortable high heels and get ready to Rock n' Roll Burlesque it with Leigh Torlage. This class is a theatre dance class such as those offered in New York City. Broadway Jazz is a Bob Fosse inspired, technique based, jazz class that emphasizes individual style and performance quality. Classes are professional, fast-paced, energetic, challenging, inspiring and FUN! This is the class to hone & perfect your technique and performance style.
