Leigh Torlage is the creative force behind the Candy Girl Cabaret
Leigh toured the world as a featured dancer/actor with Jerome Robbin's West Side Story the original Broadway production. She danced in Woody Allen's movie Bullets Over Broadway as a Four Deuces Chorus Girl and she was a Cell Block Dancer in the movie Chicago. Leigh has been on the stage since childhood. She has worked in movies, TV, dinner theatres, regional theatre, contemporary jazz dance companies and music videos.
Leigh has been on staff at Harbour Dance Centre since 1996 where she a huge, loyal following. Leigh teaches Broadway Jazz and Broadway Burlesque. Click HERE for class schedule.
In addition to being the artistic director and choreographer for the Candy Girl Cabaret, Leigh is the resident choreographer of Maxine's Hideaway - an upscale, historic restaurant & Broadway Lounge in downtown Vancouver. She also choreographs for film & TV where her unique, signature choreography can be seen in the TV series: Flash Gordon and Robson Arms, the mini series: Tin Man and the new music video Sticky Hands for Jessica Beach featuring the Candy Girls.
